INTERNATIONAL TONNAGE CERTIFICATE
AN INTERNATIONAL TONNAGE CERTIFICATE (1969) SHALL BE ISSUED TO EVERY SHIP UNDER TONNAGE CONVENTION THE GROSS AND NET TONNAGE, WHICH HAVE BEEN DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH PRESENT CONVENTION
THE CERTIFICATE SHALL BE ISSUED BY THE ADMINISTRATION OR BY ANY PERSON OR ORGANISATION DULY AUTHORISED BY IT. EVERY CASE THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CERTIFICATE
TONNAGE CERTIFICATE HAVE NO EXPIRY DATE AND THERE ARE NO REQUIREMENT FOR PERIODICAL SURVEYS. RE MEASUREMENTS HOWEVER MAY BE REQUIRE IF
- THE SHIP CHANGES FLAG
- THE SHIP UNDERGOES MODIFICATION AFFECTING THE VOLUME (TOTAL MOULDED ENCLOSED VOLUME OF THE VESSEL,CARGO SPACES, SEGREGATED BALLAST SPACES) OR DESIGNATION OF SPACES
- THERE IS A CHANGE TO THE FREEBOARD / DRAUGHT.
- THERE IS A CHANGE TO THE PERMITTED NUMBER OF PASSENGER
- THE SHIP IS REQUIRED TO COMPLY THE NEW OR ADDITIONAL REGULATION
